Every Jimmy Jammys product is 100% premium cotton. That has been true since the first pair in 2016, and it is not a sourcing accident — it is the whole point.

Why 100% cotton

The case for cotton is what happens at two in the morning. Polyester traps heat and holds it against you. Cotton breathes, moves moisture away, and handles a hot Australian night the way synthetic fabric never has. It is also the fabric that improves with ownership: cotton gets softer with every wash instead of pilling into something you stop reaching for.

Built for the job

The construction details are the part you feel rather than see. The waistband is extra-length elastic, fully covered in the same cotton as the shorts, so bare elastic never sits against your skin — no red marks, no sweating against a rubber band. A soft invisible strip prevents irritation where seams would otherwise rub, a comfort panel adds space where it is needed most, and the button fly opens easily. No-stitch areas keep seams away from where you sleep on them.

Caring for them

Cotton is not delicate. These are made to be worn hard and washed often — a proper wash, hot included, is exactly what the fabric is built for, and each wash leaves it softer. Treat them the way you treat the rest of your pure-cotton clothing and they will outlast the print cycle that made them.
